Yes, that's my baby!

The best face a mom can see. Hallie smiling was one of the best moments of my life. I love my girl. Hallie, I hope you know how much joy you bring to my life.

Look at those eyes.
Hallie's signature look. She is always looking concerned........ about what?.... I have know idea.
Hallie is a really great baby. She only cries when she is hungary or tired. She is becoming so fun.
Proud and adoring grandparents. Hallie is one lucky girl.
Me and my siblings they are the best and such a support to me and Hallie. Thank you guys for all the calls and love you give. You are the best family a girl could ask for.

Candid Hallie Photos

Ok, so all Hallie pictures are candid because she can't smile on demand (soon though). Here are some of our favorites.

Baby Blessing

We planned to give Hallie her baby blessing at church on April 26, but we found out 2 weeks prior that we would have a stake conference that Sunday. Liz was upset that our parents would be coming out and we couldn't do the blessing, but our Bishop offered to do it in our home that day.

We had an amazing experience having our parents in town and inviting our friends over for the blessing. Hallie was cute and didn't cry (she was partially asleep). The Spirit was very strong as we sang some children hymns, had a short talk, a musical number, the blessing, and then Liz and I bore our testimonies.

We had a great lunch after the little meeting, which was amazing because we had each of our friends bring what they were really good at making. All in all, the day couldn't have gone better.

Splish Splash -- Hallie's First Bath

After the disgusting umbilical cord fell off, we gave Hallie her first bath!

She was a bit confused when we first put her in the bath, however, she loved being in the warm water. Hallie would have stayed in the bath forever had we let her.

She shivered and cried when we took her out of the water, but we were able to quickly wrap her in blankets. Since then, we have given her another formal bath.

Anne Geddes Who?

We were trying to get Hallie awake during the early evening to get her switched from sleeping in the night instead of during the day. She was so dead asleep and not responding to normal methods of trying to get her awake (taking off her clothes or moving her around) that we decided to spice things up a bit...
